The Jacksonville Armada FC Youth Academy is hosting two development camps this summer. These camps are designed to help improve overall play and increase the love for the game. These camps are open to boys and girls, ages 8-14, from the Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine and surrounding areas. These camps will be identical in structure and curriculum. Choose the one that works best with your schedule or sign up to attend both camps!

The curriculum has been designed by Jacksonville Armada FC Youth Academy Executive Director, Elmar Bolowich. Coach Bolowich’s approach and goals for these camps are to enhance player development and to help grow the future of youth soccer in Northeast Florida!

The camp staff will be composed of top-notch, skilled, and experienced coaches who will not only provide instruction and direction, but also ensure each child has fun while participating in a positive learning environment.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Who will be coaching? Only professional Armada FC Youth coaches will be on hand to work with the campers. We maintain a strict 15-1 camper-to-coach ratio, however, we will strive for a 12-1 camper to coach ratio, depending on enrollment.

Will there be an athletic trainer on the fields during camp? Yes, a NATA certified athletic trainer will be available on the fields during all camps for any injuries or illnesses sustained at camp. If any treatment or taping is required before the camp session, please arrive 30 minutes early.

Can I get a discount for signing up with a sibling? Yes, you will get a $20 discount for signing up a brother or sister.

Is shelter available during downpours or lightening? Yes, both parks have sheltered areas as well as lightening monitors. We do follow the mandated protocol for lightening threats but we will play in rain – just not downpours. Coaches are well-trained to usher the campers inside during weather events.

What do we bring to camp? Other than coming dressed to play soccer, you should bring an extra outfit, including socks (in case it rains and you get wet), a soccer ball, sunscreen that won’t burn your eyes when you sweat, a filled/iced water bottle, and a snack or energy bar that won’t melt with heat.

Are there forms we have to sign after we enroll? Yes, we will forward you these forms via the email address you give us after you enroll. We will have a Parent/Guardian Pre-Participation form, a Medical Form which you can fill out (no physician’s signature required), and a Parent/Guardian Consent/Waiver form. Bring each of these forms with you to camp.

Do we come early on the first Monday of camp to register? Yes, please come 30 earlier to check-in.
