Coach Pat Cannon
Cannon has been coaching for the Jacksonville Armada FC Youth Academy for fifteen years, currently serving as the Technical Director of its Boy’s U.S. Soccer Development Academy program. Cannon was also an assistant coach for the Jacksonville Armada FC (NASL) professional team in 2016 as well as an assistant coach for both Jacksonville University and the University of North Florida's men's soccer team, respectively, from 2011 to 2015.
A Jacksonville, Florida native, Cannon currently holds his USSF A License and his NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Cannon was a standout high school player at Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach where he was the 1998 Times Union Player of the Year. Cannon was also a member of the University of West Florida men's soccer team from 1998 - 2001 where he made the All Gulf South Conference and All Southeast Region his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. This culminated in 2011 when he was inducted into University of West Florida Hall of Fame and named to the Gulf South Conference All Decade Team. Mr. Cannon has a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of West Florida in Pensacola.
